Little is known on Mr. X’s trading style. His hit rate is very good (above 60%) and trading is profitable. However, many clients claim that the performance sharply decreased in 2009, causing many losses. Performance in site approves these claims, as Mr. X did not produce profits in 2009. Trades are reported until May 2009, in which Mr. X has lost about 60 pips. Profits are not reported afterwards, perhaps because signals are not available.

Trading Style
FX-DayTrader trades the EUR\USD, GBP\USD and the GBP\JPY. Trading if both intra-day and swing, meaning that trades stay open for several days. Signals are given each day at 05:00 AM GMT, with precise entry point, stop loss and take profit. Trading reports does not show the exact trades so it is hard to determine the strategy FX-DayTrader uses.

Performance
FX-DayTrader performance is profitable and stable. With only two losing months through 2008 and 2009, their track record is very good. They even emphasize that the result are in pips and are the result of 1 lot trading.

ForexSignalPlus provides several trading-related services: a standard trading signals service, in which signals are mailed to the clients email, shown in the website or sent in an SMS message.

ForexSignalPlus also provides an automated system that executes the signals: MECHfx. This platform automatically follows the trading signals on a FXCM account which the client can watch in real time.

Trading Style & Performance
ForexSignalPlus provides 4 trading systems. Each trading signal account can follow signals from one trading system at a time. The main system has been providing signals for 70 weeks, with two others that are operating for 1 week. We will ignore the two that operated for one week, as their results are not enough for us to draw conclusions from.

Trading System 1 has performed very impressively. Having only 2 losing months in a year and a half is a very good result. Moreover, the system has had months with 2000-3000 pips profit. Hit rate is 50% – average but acceptable. It also trades on 8 currencies simulatanously which is supporting the profitability of the system. However, profits have been decreasing in the last 6 months. Profitability has fallen from 2000 pips per month to about 1000, sometimes less.

ForexSignalPlus employ another trading system, which is online for 19 weeks. Its win rate is higher (74%) but Risk:Reward is very poor and result for September and August 09 are negative.

ForexSignalClub.com is a trading signal provider for FOREX and Oil. Service is running for 5 months, since May 2009.

Trading Style
A look at the performance tab shows all the trades since the initiation of the service. Very few trades has been taken – this indicates that ForexSignalClub are very picky in their trades and take only quality trades. However, such small amount also hardens to draw solid conclusions.

From a look at the trades, one can infer that ForexSignalClub trade mainly trend-following trades and breakout trades, and take very small profits. Stop Loss is not mentioned, and possible doesn’t exist. This is not a trading way I would accept – taking small profits and risking big time is a recipe for destruction of account. This can explain the high win rate (over 80%).

Another strange fact is a constant size of take profit. 15 consecutive trades with the take profit of 25 pips is somewhat strange. Take profit should be determined by price-action and not an arbitrary number.

All this suggest a very poor trading style that may perform in short-term but eventually fail.

Performance
Performance is not bad: hit rate is very high (as a result of using small take profits with big stop loss) and most of the trades are winners.

As stated below, ForexSignalClub are taking very few signals, and considering their poor trading style – I am not surprised. This short-term performance is not enough to draw conclusions regarding the long-term performance of the service.

ForexSignalLive is not a mechanical signal provider. Instead, clients spend the trading day with ForexSignalLive’s head trader: Mark. In the trading room Mark gives trading insights, real-time analysis and trading signals. This demands clients to spend their entire day in trading room which may not be suitable for all clients. They are working on a new automatical tool to enable clients take trades automatically.

ForexSignalLive is providing signals on several currency pairs: EUR\USD, GBP\USD, AUD\USD, USD\CAD, USD\CHF and USD\JPY. This is very nice and if their performance is honest this is a very positive sign of true profitability.

Their exact entries and exits are not reported so we cannot reach any further conclusions.

Performance is impressive: ForexSignalLive had no losing months in the 2009 and have yielded +6130 pips. In 2008 they have pocketed +7184 pips – quite an impressive result. However, they are not reporting their performance in unbiased sites, so their performance is not proven nor tested.

Very few is said on their trading style. From the abstract phrases from their site, one can derive that they identify periods of ranges in price and trade the breakout, to catch trends. FXDecision claims to have a statistical model they utilize for trading (trading system).-

Their main trader, John Alexei trades only the EUR\USD and GBP\USD, though it is said that their strategies work on all pairs. He claims that despite their strategy works on all pairs, it is hard to focus on so many pairs simulatanously.

Performance
Performance is very impressive, only 2 losing months in 3 years of trading. This suggests a very good execution and strategy. The clients we have interviewed claim that the results are honest and true.

FXBossTrading is sharing their stats in real time in unbiased, objective 3rd-party site – ForexPeaceArmy. The report reveals several interesting things on their trading:

First of all, their hit rate is 81.82%, which is a great ratio. However, their Risk:Reward ratio is very poor: 0.33%. This means that the average loss is three times bigger than their average win. This is a mediore ratio that could suggest improper stop loss location or a weak risk management. The disproportion between win and loss can also explain the high hit rate.

Bottom line: They are not the best providers I have seen, but their hit rate is great and – they are very profitable. Was their risk:reward higher, they would have got an A score.

Trading Style
The reported trading style of Pro Forex Signal is peculiar. They claim to have found a connection between the DJIA (Dow Jones Industrial Average) and the FOREX Markets that allows them to predict the direction of currency pairs. They provide signals for 12 pairs: EUR/USD, USD/CHF, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/CHF, AUD/JPY, AUD/USD, CAD/JPY, EUR/JPY, GBP/CHF, NZD/USD and USD/CAD.

These are very strong claims that seem somewhat suspicious. Predicting one pair with the DJIA is acceptable, but predicting 12 pairs with one index seems to be quite challenging. Too challenging. While it is possible, I won’t be surprised that this ‘trading style’ is simply a cover for much simpler trading system.

Performance is not reported at all. No historic trades, historic gains in pips and/or yield. Performance page is claimed to be under construction. This does not allow us to learn neither about their previous drawdown, P/L and not about their trading style.
